MAHE ZEHRA a.k.a MZ

Hi, I’m Mahe Zehra! I’m an artist, storyteller, and joyful mess-maker behind Junk Journal Joy Club. With a background in both creative arts and data science (yes, really!), I’ve spent years combining curiosity, color, and chaos to help others reconnect with their creativity.

Through handmade journals, upcycled treasures, and mixed media magic, I help people turn everyday scraps into deeply personal works of art. My philosophy? Use what you have, start where you are, and make what makes you happy.

Let’s play, explore, and fill your life—and your journals—with joy.

What you’ll make

Your Very Own Art Studio Cabinet
Transform a humble shelf or cabinet into a whimsical, organized, and sacred space for making. This will be your creative closet—your daily invitation to show up and play.

DIY Color Mists (a.k.a. Magical Potions)
Why buy expensive sprays when you can make your own? You’ll create vibrant, customizable color mists using items you already have. Perfect for backgrounds, splashes, stencils, and splatters.

Homemade Texture Paste
Make a batch of thick, satisfying texture paste from scratch! Then learn how to use it with stencils to add beautiful dimension to your pages.

Your First Junk Journal
Learn to fold, bind, and decorate a junk journal made entirely from scrap materials. This book will be the beginning of your journey—filled with color, layers, and possibility.
