Starting from a $10 accounting ledger and a handful of things you probably already have, we'll use tea-dye, colour mists, stencils, collage and a tissue-paper cover that looks like worn leather to coax ordinary paper into something layered and atmospheric. You'll finish with a ledger that looks as though it has a story to tell, and the techniques to make many more.
