Stay Home Stay Safe
The past few weeks have turned the whole world upside down and inside out. I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone.
Covid 19 has most of the planet home bound and things that were once routine have now become luxuries. People are working from home and staying indoors trying to ‘flatten the curve’. The disease spreads rapidly so people are trying to break the chain and protect themselves and those around them.
My office also went remote last week and it’s now been 11 days since my husband and I have been at home. The only time we ventured out was for some groceries once.
It seems unreal. In a world that is so connected people are yearning to see each other and get together for a cup of coffee. The loneliness is real!
Amid this whole crisis so many people have come forward with beautiful stories and examples of what we can do by sharing with each other. Bands are doing online concerts to cheer their fans up, companies are sharing their educational resources for free and so much more.
I wanted to share some of the resources I’ve found online and have loved.
I love all things planner related and am thrilled to see what The Happiness Planner is sharing for free. Their gratitude journal, reflection journal and other printable. You can access them all here.
The book I put together with 79 other artists from 22 countries is also available for free as a PDF here.
This is the perfect time to download the book and try a few of the projects and read the stories of the artists and browse through other interesting facts about their countries. I like to think of it as a virtual trip around the world!
Hom Sweet Hom has lovely resources as well including some free lettering lessons. I have found myself turning to lettering more and more during this time. There is something about it that relaxes we a lot. If you’ve wanted to learn lettering now is the time to do it.
There are so many times we wish we had more time. I choose to think of this as that time and am trying to learn new skills. What are you doing to stay busy, stay home and stay safe?
