We’ve all made paper cups when we were younger. These were one of the easiest origami projects we were taught. I even made some to use as cups to drink water from and they held up pretty well! Today we will turn these paper cups into DIY gift bags.

I love scrap-booking and have done it in one form or another for the past 20 years. I started off with a scrapbook that was made out of a few colored sheets of construction paper stapled together when I was 12. Each page had a collage made out of all the memorabilia that I had collected on a family trip to Austin, TX. Everything from newspaper clippings to restaurant napkins to tickets and photographs came together and told a story in those pages. Each page had a theme and represented one fun thing that we did on the trip. That’s how my adventure started…

One of my favorite books growing up was called Christina Katerina and the box. The book takes us though the adventures Christina Katerina has with a huge refrigerator box. She turns it into a castle, a clubhouse, a car and more till it finally has to be thrown away. Then she moves on to another item to be saved from the trash!
